currently employs eight people, including two hairdressers, all of
whom have experience in the trade, over 100 year's experience collectively,
to be precise. So you can see we know what we are talking about when it comes
to hair and beauty.
Kirsty, our latest recruit, is a fully qualified hairdresser and has just come back from California where she has been attending the Nexus Training Academy. Nexus is a range of high quality hair care products that are only available through hairdressing salons. Monarch has the sole agency for Nexus in the area so we can regulate where the product goes, and with Kirsty's knowledge, there is obviously all the back up needed for such a high quality product.
Nexus is not the only product that is available exclusively from Monarch. We are also sole agents for Kadus and Revlon both of which supply us with our own technician to visit any salon that requires help or advancement. We see education as a very important part of our service having already run very successful manicure and nail extension courses with many more in the pipeline.
We are also the premier supplier of Tresemme in the area. Ivan King was responsible for launching Tresemme in Swindon more than 15 years ago and therefore it is a very big part of our business. The level of support that we can offer is beyond compare, as we have our own Tresemme technician who is always available, although he gets very booked up!
Our beauty business is growing at a pace that has even surprised us, but with the strength of companies like Alida, Bellitas, and Hive behind us, all of which have been very supportive, we feel we have the right recipe to build our business and further boost our reputation.
Our beauty questions can be answered by Cindy, who is also our company secretary. She has a wealth of knowledge in the beauty business having been in the trade for over 20 years. Monarch delivers free to Hair & beauty Salons within a 50 mile radius of Swindon, most of which enjoy a weekly service from our Sales Force.
Our Swindon clients can have a delivery within hours if needed. Our cash & carry, which is the largest in the area, is run by Debbie, also a hairdresser, who is always ready to offer a friendly service and advise. We are open Monday - Friday and we take all major credit cards. Come in and see us.
